Har har, I suck at attention spans.

No really. I totally meant to keep up more with DA... My last journal entry was in AUGUST? Ugh. I'm sorry I have an attention span of a spastic gerbil.

Anyway... New things? Uhm... well, I was officially diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, so yay for finally having a name to pin to my medical issues. It's treatable, but not in the "and then it goes away" sort of treatment, and getting the insurance company to cover the meds has been like watching various fandoms fight over "who's gay/isn't gay" in an anime series. (I think my insurance company counts as the illiterate "homgz ur wrong" source of the arguments.)

More art? Meh. I've been drawing, but I haven't been seeing any sort of improvement. Actually, I see improvement, but when I try to duplicate that random burst of skill, it... goes away. My artistic talents seem to have ADD. =3 Much like my son.

I was EVER so close to starting a breedable shop on Gaia with this awesome chick, but she randomly stopped messaging me. xD See, I have the kiss of DEATH on Gaia. When I'm remembering to respond quickly. (Sorry Sora. T__T; Really, I'm horrible at keeping up with comments and PMs.)

i know im a random person, but i saw you comment on another deviants journal and i wanted to see your gallery :3

my mom was diagnosed with this years ago, before many doctors would even accept it as and illness and struggled with it, i remember days when she just never got out of bed at all, it was depressing and miserable. Lots of meds, lots of doctors and lots of pain, all that fun junk. We managed though you know?

Then, in a seemingly unrelated part of our lives, we made a big big big change, that got rid of an enormous amount of stress, so much i dont think anyone knew how much stress it had caused. And wouldnt you know it, she got so much better, and now, she rarely has issues (though she does have the occasional bad day) and her doctors agreed that stress triggers her symptoms, she when things are going badly she tends to get sick, but for the most part, she is now healthy and able to have active normal days

just wanted to share our story with you, that while there is no medical cure, at least in my moms case, changing her life for the better helped her be healthy

i think everyone's artistic talent is add -_- i sure know mine is

Sadly... my Mom seems to take into her things that she has no reason to stress over, things that have nothing to do with her, even. She's pretty paranoid. But we're hoping that some more therapy will help her to be able to define "yeah, they over billed me and won't take the charge off, this is a reason to stress" rather than "...those mice you had four years ago, are you sure they died and didn't get into the walls? ...Wait, I won't stress about that." (We have concrete walls. xD)

But really, I thank you for your comment in more than one way. It's always heartening to hear that yes, it's possible it won't always be this bad. And I also might have bi-polar, which is something that terrifies me to no end, seeing this example before me and knowing that while I'm a bit nuts/silly (who doesn't have late night conversations that in the morning make you wonder "oh gawd, why was I discussing the finer points of zombie strippers?") I surely don't want to turn into her, or do any of this to my own son.

o.o Oh my, I wrote you back a pretty long comment, sorry. Also... I fully agree. Two days ago? Could NOT draw anything to save my life. Today? o__o; I can't believe I just half assedly drew what I just drew.
(By the way, I was curious and stopped by your gallery... o.o You have VERY lovely art.)
:iconfrench-toast:
thank you :3

if it makes you feel any better, i myself have had a discussion about zombie strippers.... :D

xD It begs to be a topic of discussion. Not only that, but there's a horror movie about it. And it isn't X-rated.

(Is there anything horror movies aren't going to cover? What about Possessed Ham from Outer Space? Or Zombie Ramen? Then there's always Serial Killer Ducks.)
:iconfrench-toast:
i think zombie ramen would be quite the spectacle to see :D i did just find out that there are horror versions of pride and prejudice and sense and sensibility

sense and sensibility and sea monsters

pride and prejudice and zombies

>_> I think a lot of ramen IS zombie-fied. Does it ever go bad? Nope. That's because it's already undead.

My friend just bought the Pride and Prejudice one! xD Aww, see... those there are people that enjoy life, to write those kinds of stories.
:iconfrench-toast:
i will never think of ramen the same again o.o
